Advocating for the environment, Joe created Special Delivery, a mixed media commentary on the contentious and unresolved importation of trash from developed nations by unscrupulous local government agencies. The work was showcased at the X Florence Biennale in Italy, themed “Art and the Polis.” In doing so, JOE has opened the eyes of international audiences to the country’s prevalent environmental problems.
